PERSONAL TRAINER or GROUP CLASS?
Any type of EXERCISE is good for you and will without doubt bring benefits…… but does having a PERSONAL TRAINING SESSION actually make that much difference?
GROUP CLASSES and GROUP FITNESS PROGRAMS are an excellent way of staying in shape. Plus the camaraderie of a big group can really drive you on or when you are Physically or Mentally Tired!! They are also a great way of friends Motivating each other to try something that they normally wouldn’t have the confidence or Drive to try on their own. Even little things like agreeing to pick each other up in the morning. This will force you to go and TRAIN even on those days you’re looking for any excuse Not Too!!

However a PERSONAL TRAINING SESSION if done correctly can be used to bring out the Very Best In You!!! It’s specifically designed around You…… Your Needs…. Aims….. and Specific Abilities!!! The PERSONAL TRAINER can watch every EXERCISE and every move you’re doing and pick up quickly on any Bad Habits or Bad Movement. They can also see exactly where you may be struggling. Or on the opposite side, they can see what’s Too Easy for you. This allows them to simplify or intensify the FITNESS PROGRAM at any time.
Whether the ONE TO ONE SESSIONS are on a FITNESS basis or on a MARTIAL ARTS basis they allow a more intense learning experience. This should mean the student makes significant progress in a shorter period of time.
When it comes to learning Specific techniques for example KRAV MAGA PERSONAL TRAINING then the student should definitely pick up the techniques a lot faster as the program can be carried out step by step and more time can be spent teaching the details which can often be quite difficult in a big group.
So in conclusion I believe Group Classes are an excellent form of training and have massive benefits to most people. However, Personal Training is a more concise and exact way of learning and should show results within quite a short period of time!!!
